My how things have changed since I first opened this blog. In March I was all excited about the course I had taken to make and repair golf clubs, and now we are living on our new/old boat in Maryland. What a ride it has been. Looking back on the last seven months, it just doesn't seem possible we have accomplished all we wanted to do, but we are here.

All this only is a good example of the "Process" at work. We took the vacation to St. Michaels, MD, just to get away from the snow, and that changed our direction completely. While I was playing golf, Anne took a drive to Kent Narrows and looked at boats. That's what did it. Hooked on boats again. Without boring you with too many details, we started researching boats, hundreds of them.

Five trips later along with two disappointments and problems and frustrations with banks we purchased our boat. In the meantime, we moved out of our cottage and changed our Canada address to Ontario. We'll go back in January and sort out the necessary items, and we'll quite likely spend the summer in the Toronto area. Can't stray too far or too long from Canada, just long enough to stay out of the snow.

Our boat is old, wooden and in need of some costmetic repair, but it is a beauty, and we'll be able to live comfortably on it. We won't move for a couple or three months while we are updating a number of items, but we have two excellent engines and a generator, none of which has many hours on them. And we like Maryland and the people in the area.

So the new ride has begun, and we are looking forward to the excitement. Funny how the "Process" works. One never knows what the ride will be along with the challenges, but if you trust the journey it seems to turn out the way it is supposed to.

Hi Folks,

Time for a new post on my beautiful blog spot. I've spent a fair bit of time setting up my new workshop.."Ted's Club House." It's not a fancy work shop, but I'm now ready to start regripping and doing some small repair or even club assembly. All I need now is some new customers and some warmer weather. That's on the way.

I have been able to get out for five rounds this season, and I'll likely get out for number six today. The weather has been miserable, wet and cold, so my game is not up to expectations yet, but give me a few more rounds and watch out.

I've been on the search during the poor weather and have found two complete sets of clubs with wooden heads, and I'm going to clean them up so they will be playable. That will be a lot of fun, and I can offer a real bargain to some new players.

I'm ready for the season and a number of record rounds. As Craig Sigl says, "Fairways and Greens."

Till next time,

GolfoTed
